Lyric Poem · For Kids
The Santa Stakeout
I planned my Santa stakeout
with cocoa, snacks, and cheer;
I practiced staying up past nine
for nearly half a year.
But morning came: the cookies gone,
my mission incomplete.
I don't know how he does it, folks.
I blame the blanket. Sweet defeat.
