Copyright is jurisdictional. QuillOak records a United States display decision for each full text and never treats one public-domain flag as a worldwide fact.

What a display decision covers
A poem page records the work, source transcription or edition, translator where applicable, legal basis, jurisdiction, review date, and exact text fingerprint. Full text is shown only when that record permits it. Modern work is limited to metadata, commentary, and short excerpts on poet pages.
Public domain is not worldwide
Our current clearance policy is United States-focused. A work available here may remain protected where you live, and a later edition or translation may remain protected even when the original poem is not. Check local law before republishing. This page is product policy, not legal advice.
Original QuillOak poems
You may copy an original QuillOak poem into a personal card, ceremony, classroom handout, or non-commercial reading with credit. Do not sell it, place it in a commercial anthology, train a model on it, or claim authorship without permission.
Rights concerns & suppression
A credible rights report is handled at work level: the affected poem can be removed from the sitemap and suppressed without taking down the wider collection. Include the page URL, claimant relationship, jurisdiction, source evidence, and the text fingerprint shown on the page. Follow the reporting checklist.
