Lyric Poem · For Kids
Snow Day
The radio said two words today,
the finest ever spoken —
no math, no bus, no spelling quiz,
the whole white world is open!
I'll build a fort, I'll eat the snow,
(the white bits, mum, I promise!)
and sleep tonight a happy lump,
half-boy and half-pajamas.
