One Window's Glow

by The QuillOak Editors

It isn't really wrapping,

and it was never snow —

it's every mile that's traveled

toward one window's glow.

It's extra chairs and table leaves,

old stories, candlelight:

the year's whole love, collected,

and spent in one warm night.
