Lyric Poem · Poems About Mom
To Mom, Who Worried
You worried that we'd catch a cold,
you worried we would fall,
you worried half your nights away —
we never saw at all.
So here's to every silent watch,
each fear you never showed:
the reason we walked easy, Mom,
is you patrolled the road.
