The Pea Treaty
I've thought about your offer
("eat your peas, then pie")
and drafted this agreement,
which you'll want to ratify:
I'll eat exactly four peas —
not five; my mind is set —
for two scoops, paid at bedtime.
Best deal you'll ever get.
