An Honest Note About My Homework
Dear Teacher: here's the honest truth
about my missing sheet.
The dog did NOT consume it.
(We own a parakeet.)
It wasn't lost in lava,
or stolen by a spy.
The truth is — I just didn't.
You said to never lie.
