Lyric Poem · Love
Two Degrees
We battle on the thermostat —
you win by two degrees;
I get you back in hoodie theft
and frozen-footed knees.
Ten years of tiny squabbles, love,
and here's the thing I've found:
I'd rather lose each fight with you
than win with no one around.
