The Lighthouse

by The QuillOak Editors

1The world gets loud. You don't.

2Plans collapse. You shrug, reroute.

3I have watched you assemble furniture,

4funerals, and Christmas mornings

5with the same unhurried hands.

6Other people fall for fireworks.

7I fell for the lighthouse.
