The Lighthouse

by The QuillOak Editors

The world gets loud. You don't.

Plans collapse. You shrug, reroute.

I have watched you assemble furniture,

funerals, and Christmas mornings

with the same unhurried hands.

Other people fall for fireworks.

I fell for the lighthouse.
