Rhyming Poems · Love
Time Zones
When I wake, you're halfway through your day,
already tired of people I don't know.
I send the sunrise to you anyway,
a photo of my window, grey and slow,
and you send back your lunch, your rainy street.
We trade our hours like a currency
we're saving up, until the day we meet
and spend it all on one shared pot of tea.
