Kitchen Table

by The QuillOak Editors

1Every hard thing in my life

2got solved at your kitchen table:

3the first heartbreak, the second job,

4the bill I couldn't pay, the call I couldn't make.

5You'd pour the tea and wait.

6I've bought a table just like yours.

7I'm learning how to wait.
